Wranglers Nation, get ready to erupt! We're bringing the thunder with our newest signing, the one and only Jaylen Alston! This All-American talent is ready to electrify the court and bring his highlight-reel game to Glass City!
That's right, the high-flying forward who dominated the CIAA is joining the Wranglers for the 2024/2025 season, and we can't wait to witness the fireworks!
"Jaylen is an absolute game-changer," says Wranglers CEO Joshua Radtkin. "His athleticism, passion, and winning mentality are exactly what we're looking for. He's going to be a force to be reckoned with in the BSL!"
Jaylen's journey to the Wranglers is paved with success. He was a two-time All-State athlete at Eastern Guilford High School in North Carolina, where he was ranked #29 in the state for the class of 2018. He then took his talents to Division 1 Gardner-Webb University before finishing his college career at Winston-Salem State University, where he helped the Rams win two conference championships!
But Jaylen's not just a winner; he's a leader. He led the Rams to the 2023 CIAA Basketball Championship and was named the Tournament MVP! He was also named CIAA Player of the Year and earned All-CIAA Front Court honors. The guy's a walking trophy case!
Now, Jaylen's ready to bring his championship pedigree and electrifying style of play to the Glass City. Get ready for thunderous dunks, acrobatic layups, and a whole lot of excitement!
